Why is it when people think of family photos the first thing that comes to mind is the super formal, posed, dated photos from the earlier times?
Family photos should be fun and show who you and your family are as a whole. They should show the connection between your and the members of your family.
If the kids are allowed to make silly faces, so should the adults 😉. Relax, have fun. Don’t stress about getting the “perfect” shot. It’ll come, and it’ll be beautiful.
